Re: How can I stop getting 13420 WUs on my GPU?

Can you please also share the slot setup ? Wonder if you CPU might be overallocated and don’t have a CPU thread for the GPU always around ? Not sure if still possible these days

Summer heat come too. Seasonally some donors reduce the additional heater in this time of the year.

Re: phone notifications when folding fails?

In my early years I used Zabbix to monitor my FAH systems. It included also the GPU and Disk temps; it could also send email/notifications; but a bit of a learning curve to get it done.

Thank; tried that and it works for 7.6.13. This command seems new as I can't find it in 7.5.1.
Wonder why it come in ...

Re: phone notifications when folding fails?

You could write your own script, analyze the log file or remote API and react in a way you need. To my knowledge there is no standard way of doing it. Raising an enhancement might be a good idea to trigger a system shell script in case of specific events. Not much scientific value out of it so don’t...

Re: Folding@home for IOS device?

Apple doesn't want background running app so FAH didn't implement on the IOS system. But there is one distributing computing project currently running on the IOS device, it's called DreamLab. I run that occasionally on my iPhone. Does anyone know how they implement the software on the IOS device? A...

And don’t forget to get one passkey and install it on all your systems. For details please go here: https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/points/passkey/

Re: protein viewer for 7.6.13 not working, no data via API

FAHViewer gets the trajectory using the updates command, as in updates add 4 5 $(trajectory 1) which seems to work (more or less). I do get your result with the bare trajectory command, that is the client closes the connection. Interesting, can try that later. But having the trajectory periodically...

bruce wrote:Hmmm. FAHClient 7.6.13 for windows does support viewing the active WUs on each GPU. I don't know if the stand-alone FAHViewer can do that as I'm using the FAHViewer that's activated from FAHControl.
Could you please try the telnet way against your Windows version ?

Re: FAHMM on iOS? Anyone got it working?

Since the update, the app seems more stable, however, unless I'm doing something wrong, the protein viewer is broken, both on my iPhone and iPad. It stays stuck at "loading" and never brings up the protein. Yes, I have the same issue with FAHClient 7.6.13. What client version are you runn...

protein viewer for 7.6.13 not working, no data via API

With the FAHClient 7.6.13 (CentOS 8 in my case) I can't get the trajectory information relevant for default protein viewer or via 3rd party API into my mobile application. It works under 7.5.1 When try to replicate via simple TELNET command I get simply disconnected Welcome to the FAHClient command ...

Re: FAHMM on iOS? Anyone got it working?

Thanks for your interesst in that app. Haven’t touched it for a while. First: the discovery was a kind of experiment and proof of concept but never made it into consideration of the official FAH stack. No direct scientific benefit. UX is not a high enough priority. I might should remove or hide tha...
