Re: Feature Request: Pause at next checkpoint

On Windows as a workaround I use a simple batch script which searches for checkpoints and displays their modification dates: @echo off setlocal enableextensions set fah_path=%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient if "%~1" == "/?" goto help if "%~1" == "&qu...

Re: FAHBench (OpenMM 5.1)

FAHbench 2.3.2 for Windows build with OpenMM 7.4.1 Core_22 with mixed precision https://www.file-upload.net/download-13996613/FAHBenchwithOpenMM7.4.1core22mixedprecision.zip.html So that should match the current FAH GPU core for Corona Virus work units. Just for fun I've benchmarked my GeForce GTX ...

Re: 9634 (Run 0, Clone 9, Gen 5)

In order to disable GPU Boost on Windows you can also use NVIDIA Inspector as described above and force your GPU to run with a constant frequency. It works just fine in P5-state for my GTX 660M. Another great thing that I forgot to mention earlier is that in the P5-state the PCI-E bus interface of m...

Script to disable NV Boost

One correction: the lower power state that I use is P5 and to be percise it is called by NVIDIA Inspector a 'Performance State'.

Script to disable NV Boost

Is it even possible to disable boost function (or any dynamic management of voltage and frequency) ? It would be so easier if we could get back to the old behaviour of the hardware ... it was easier to control what was happeing. Yes, it is possible to disable the boost function. I fold occasionally...

Re: FAHCore stops working mid-task

Try lowering the clocks below the reference level. I would start with the memory clock. My card GTX 660M has default memory clock 5000 MHz and it is unstable in FAH, so I have lowered the clock down to 4000 MHz. Memory clock is not important for FAH, in my case performance decreased only by 1% or 2%...
