Re: Failed to access core package
Deleting the slot and re-adding it worked. Now folding a 7520. Thanks again, all.

Re: Failed to access core package
1. Rebooting did not help, Bob, so I'm still waiting. <shrugs> 2. bollix47, I did search and was unable to find a post regarding CPU folding that was relevant to my situation. I must have done it wrong. 3. This means I was not aware that PG had been notified nor aware of this specific problem. Thank...

Failed to access core package (CPU folding)
I've seen the posts on this where it applies to GPU clients but not CPU clients. *********************** Log Started 2014-09-26T13:37:18Z *********************** 13:37:18:************************* Folding@home Client ************************* 13:37:18: Website: http://folding.stanford.edu/ 13:37:18:...

Re: BAD_WORK_UNIT 7520 (110, 1, 293) [Not Bad WU]
Ah. I see now. The work vanished, so there was nothing to upload.
I'll have to take a look at my system logs to see just WTH was happening with my system at the time the WU work vanished.
Thanks, all.

Re: BAD_WORK_UNIT 7520 (110, 1, 293)
Okay, then, I guess I did waste 18 hours worth of folding. Googling the "114=0x72" error comes up with ERROR_INVALID_TARGET_HANDLE 114 (0x72) The target internal file identifier is incorrect. and that the causes could be malware, adware, spyware, viruses, a corrupt application, a new appli...

Re: BAD_WORK_UNIT 7520 (110, 1, 293)
Well, okay, I have no clue as to what the problem could be, either.
But I'm not seeing the upload of the 80% completed work, nor do I see partial credit for 80% of the WU being done.

Does this mean I wasted 14 hours folding?

BAD_WORK_UNIT 7520 (110, 1, 293) [Not Bad WU]
No credit given for partial WU. Athlon II X4 640, 4GB RAM, Win 7 Pro 32-bit OS, F@H client v7.4.4, no overclocking, no overheating (CPU@50°). Usually 75xx series run just fine over 18 hours or so. Any ideas? 01:08:53:WU00:FS00:Starting 01:08:53:WU00:FS00:Running FahCore: "C:\Program Files\FAHCl...

Re: Server Issues Today?
Did you check the status of those servers on http://fah-web.stanford.edu/serverstat.html ? You didn't post any logs or list any specific servers that your clients are having trouble with so we really can't help you. No response. I'm getting zero response from any url with "stanford.edu" i...

Re: Why are you folding?
I fold because I want to put diseases like cancer and others - which have affected my family and friends - into the garbage can of history.

Re: FAH - military connection?
Hey I have a good Idea. Let's all quit doing something that may make our life's our children's life's, the human race's life's better because somebody or Government may be using it for another purpose. Sorry about the sarcasm but those types of narrow views just get to me. When I've got family memb...
