Then something must have been changed in assigning WU because I did get regular SMP occasionally even as little as 4 days ago.

No, it can see a full 4GB, and then some of that is reserved depending on hardware. Most people have about 3.25GB available.

According to the project summary page, both 6701 & 6702 are 4.9 days for preferred deadline. Where are you seeing the 3.2 days?

Linux SMP (notfred) + GPU2 on the first, with GPU set to low instead of idle priority in config.
2x CPU on the second.
