The SMP clients are high performance clients and are designed to be run 24/7, hence the short deadlines.
If you can't run your computer all the time, or meet the deadlines, the recommendation is to use the regular CPU client instead.

Hmm, there's something a little wrong with the server. I got the same errors as you this morning, although I'm pretty sure it was because the host was restarting the database server, as I couldn't get to the databases from the host control panel either. It maybe just my location, but the site seems ...
